Burrell Seated on BurlCo Commissioners Board for First Time,…
The Pine Barrens Tribune story:
Burrell, now 28 years old and an associate attorney and chief operating officer at McOmber McOmber & Luber, was first elected at the age of 19 in 2016.
Up until this past December, Burrell has served as one of the youngest councilpersons and council presidents in the state. He served a total of eight years on the Delran Township Council.
In addition to his previous council service in Delran, he was, up until assuming his commissioner term, the president of the Burlington County Institute of Technology (BCIT) and Burlington County Special Services School District.
Burrell, a lifelong Delran resident, is filling a seat on the commissioners’ board previously held by now-former commissioner Dan O’Connell, who opted not to seek re-election in November, or at the end of his second-term full term.
While all five commissioners are “special to me,” Singleton declared, “Tyler is really special to me because I have seen Tyler grow.”
