“Tyler J. Burrell, a 24-year-old law student, has begun his second four-year term as a Delran councilman and is now the Council President.
He is likely among the youngest council presidents in the state. The youngest in New Jersey history was possibly Michael Ceponis, who became Somerville Council President in 1975 at age 22.
U.S. Senator Cory Booker swore in Burrell.”

The research includes legal scholarship, social sciences, and an interview with Vincent Denault of the International Centre for Comparative Criminology.
